5 Procedure
5.1 The manufacturer shall submit the requested documentation necessary for confirming eligibility for verification, and verifying the proposed fungal resistance claim. For more information regarding required documentation, see Section 9, Information Required.
5.2 Fungal resistance test methodologies for plastic products are specified in Table 5.1.
5.3 As part of an annual review, the manufacturer must complete a Fungal Resistance ECV Annual Review Declaration and return it to the designated compliance manager along with any requested documentation to confirm on-going compliance with the fungal resistance environmental claim.
6 Test Results
6.1 Products should be tested against one of the specific test methods according to Table 5.1.
6.2 Fungal growth on the specimens shall be determined by visual examination according to Standard for Plastics — Evaluation of the action of microorganisms, ISO 846, Section 9.1.
