Compliance is checked by applying a test probe. To dust collection openings below the table, the test probe B of IEC 61032:1997 is used. The test probe is inserted with a force not exceeding 5 N into the dust collection opening until the probe’s stop face reaches the plane of the dust collection opening and shall not touch hazardous moving parts. Dust collection openings provided in the saw blade guard above the table, if any, are tested with the probe in Figure 103.
